Great News…..Docs Without Borders Film Festival
What a great surprise this morning to learn “If Walls Could Talk” a film about dry stone walling has officially been accepted at the “Docs Without Borders Film Festival” (DWBFF).
I don’t submit to many film festivals, but in the world of documentary film making, why just leave the film on your hard drive and do nothing with it? I don’t make documentaries for everyone TO ENJOY, I make documentaries which are interesting, informative and educational. “If Walls Could Talk” is just a quirky subject about dry stone walling and the wallers who build them. Visitors in Derbyshire and any country in the world who has dry stone walls tend to ignore them and even don’t appreciate the work which goes into them. I wanted to give them a voice, and the voice was this documentary.
